A site that disappears for a few hours costs more than a year of hosting. I set infrastructure so a deploy is not an event, an outage is visible before a customer reports it, and rolling back takes a minute.

Do I have to change hosting?
Not always. I look at what you have first. If a move is worth it, I show what you gain.
What does monitoring cover?
Availability and basic performance, with an alert when the service stops answering. You should know about an outage before a customer does.
Can we roll back a bad change?
Yes. Returning to the working version takes a minute and does not require me to be there.
